I want to be the best bird mommy I can be. I am already a mommy of 3 boys, 2 cats, and 1 dog. Please if there is anything I need special for them please tell me. and I will get it.

How should I care for my 2 month old and 2 yr old parakeets?

I recently became the proud owner of a rescued 2yr old parakeet and a 2 month old albino parakeet. The 2yr old seems to be comfortable in his new home. The 2month old however seems sad and does not want to eat. I just bought her from a pet store a few days ago. Could it be she’s just not used to her new home yet? Or did I make a mistake in having two parakeets with a big gap in their ages?

I’m concerned that she feels intimadated by the older parakeet.
