      dont clip the birds wings… that would make the bird more or less handycaped. i have a bird that cant fly because it has a virus that damages its feathers. he trys to fly but ends up falling. when he was yonger he would fall and damage his skin and bleed and we would have to hold him down while we fixed the bleading. if you love your bird dont clip its wings.

      @AshleyEmJay if dog etas raw foods and especially chicken he will propably try to taste it at the few first weeks

      erm how do i clip the birds nails if its scared of me and shit and dont stay still? I tried like holding it in my hand, but it just tries to bite me and shit lol (not that it hurts when he get hold on my skin)

      i have a budgie bird & two cats :o my bird flys around, i dont clip his wings & the cats do try to attack him but birds are very fast, i guess its up to you, see how it goes maybe, & how comfortable the dog feels around the bird

      i glue sand paper to the bottom half of my bords perches, works well akutalyz

      (plz reply!) i am getting a pet budgie but i have a dog around the hows. i am worried that if i clip the wings of my bird the bird could posibly get killed by my dog. if you can reply on my channel please tell me if i should clip or not clip the wings and give me reasons why. I would extremely appreciate the help! mr directordude

      I put my budgie on top of the cage, and while his feet hang down I can clip easy.

      The males have black nails and grey-ish feet. That is normal, but since your’s is only one, it may not be completely black-nailed yet.

      most dont have black nails? well my 1 year old male budgie does, not the whole thing just the white part that she was talking about, is that normal?
