   when I am thinking about getting a new pet I usually go to google or another search engine and type in the kind of pet i am thinking about getting. In your case, for instance go to google and type in parakeet. It will give you a bunch of websites.

   Parakeets are also known as “budgies” ~ Here’s a good site with lots of information regarding their needs and care ~ I hope this helps. Good luck and have fun. Budgies can be one of the best pets ever.

   There are several pages to look at on here you can look at birds in general or look up parakeet/budgies for articles in particular.
