Hand-Feeding and Raising Baby Birds: Breeding, Hand-Feeding, Care, and Management
Our three keets love this food. Although they don’t tackle the bigger pieces of dried fruit in it….which is fine by us…. because everything else in the bowl is keeping them quite well (and we do offer fresh fruit as the alternative which they dive into equally as well). At one point we switched to another high-end keet food for a cost savings….only to have one of our older keets come up with some digestive issues that almost cost her her life. Very scary. We keep to Dr.Harveys religiously now and have vibrant, playful, vocal and very active healthy birds. We chose it initially because it contained bee pollen…something we have had great success in using with our dogs and horses for maintained health.
