    Why do parakeets regurgitate?

One of my parakeets seems to be regularly regurgitating and I don’t know if its an illness or if its normal, the bird starts to bring up the seed (its not broken or anything just wet seed) and slings it around, now the bird seems to be healthy gets exercise and eats normally and i also have another parakeet I don’t know if that influences the situation or not please answer as soon as possible because I’m kind of worried
    Sincerely Juan

    HELP! parakeets health?

my parakeet has been very itchy lately around her cere(beak) and the bottom corners have started looking as if it is dry(crispy & flaky). she also has a tiny round thing on her eyelid that wasnt there before. im worried if these symptoms are any kind of disease or mites. HELP PLEASE!

    Will female parakeets lay eggs?

If i get 1 female parakeet will it lay eggs and get egg bound and every thing.

    About parakeets…?

I want to buy a parakeet, but do they have them at petsmart? Also, if they do, is it possiable/likley they would come with parasites or illnesses?

Also, know of any good about bird websites?

    Thanks!

will my parakeets get me sick or any illness like that if i keep them in my room?

i wanted to have my birds in my room but i just wanted to be sure thanks :)

how rare is Psittacosis in humans and parakeets?

what are symptoms and how can domesticated birds get it if they have stayed in the house and occasionally outside in the cage for fresh air?

How do i know my parakeet’s age?

I really want my parakeets to breed but its a risk.I don’t if they’re too young to breed. And im scared, cuz they might egg bind.

    budgie parakeets and beak/head rubbing?

i have three budgies….i have had them (not these ones) when i was younger and have always been great..noisy but great!
i had two just over a year ago one died :( then dec my bouyfriend bought two more for my son. (he said he was going to buy one, i was a bit annoyed when he came home with 2)

so now i have a grand total of three, one of the new ones and the original one i had have become close, i think they may have partnered off. or have become bffs. (it has been a while since i have had them and don’t have my books on them anymore)
any way….they all groom each other, but these two have been rubbing their beaks and heads/faces on their pearch to each other…remind me this is a sign that they have in paired off, or am i compeatly off….

the newer ones may be too young to sex, and the older one (the one i have had for a few years has been difficult…beak is always changing and goes from blues to pinks to browns to whites)
the older one is blue and white
where the others are the usual green and yellow.
i may think of getting a seperat cage for them and a nest if they have paired, and see if they will be able to breed succesfully….but not for another 6months to be sure, the younger (newer ones) i think may be about 4-6 months.
i want to put a nest box in but am wooried it may be early for the younger one. and i look at the bridge, but have heard that parakeets can be to young to sex so i want to wait a bit and my cage is just big enough for the three birds, i want to get a bigger one, but there isn’t enough room for a nest bow and three birds. i will likely get a new cage with in the next few weeks so i can put a nest box in but if not another cage so they can all be comfy, i don’t want to seperate them but worry about their comfort.
again i might put a box in but am not really concerned about breeding, i am not wanting to be a breeder but the want to see what they do is a little inkling, and i would tottaly research before i do, thats why i’d wait at least six months give myself time to make sure they are okay, my older one is probibly to old and the younger one may be to young. it is an idea not a plan.

    my female parakeets brown cere?

my female parakeets cere is weird, the brown part looks like fur and the outside edge is white, also theres a weird lump under her one wing and that same wing is higher than the other, also i know the signs of egg binding but how long would it take a female bird to die from it? what are some things i can use as calcium? i heard that egg shells and weirdly enough, sunlight? is that true? one last thing, i just got my female on monday and her and my male seem to like each other already ( he feeds her and he preens her, and they kiss) but how long till they mate and how long till she gets used to the nest box? she never went in it yet but how long till she starts to go in it? also since her cere’s brown how old would that make her? i know its hard to tell and i know shes older than 4 months because she dosent have the lines on her head and she already had an egg (im not sure if its accualy fertile but sonce she had an egg dosent mean shes mature and wouldnt that make her older than 7 months?)

my parakeet’s poop does not have the black spot in it is she sick?
