Different types of parrots

The main species of parrots are:

Large-sized Parrots:

Buy a Spacious Parrot Cage for your Pet Parrots

If you prefer a round parrot cage, you would do well to know your parrot doesn’t like it. There must be some corners in the cage so that the bird can feel comfortable and safe. Birds prefer horizontal bars compared to vertical bars since horizontal ones also serve as extra perches.

Molting in parrots…?

Ok, I found some answers concerning molting. I have an Indian Ringneck Parakeet, she’s two n a half n she’s been molting for 4 days. I understand it goes on for about 3-6 weeks?
Another problem is that, do new feathers come out as soon as old ones are molted? I’m not sure, but I think mine is going bald. But sometimes I have a glimpse of new ones. What is the recognition? How do I know if it’s serious kind of illness or something? N how do I know if its just normal? Its the first time she’s molted actually, thats why I’m concerned.
My mother’s been scaring me since she started molting, n i can not bear to lose her (my parrot, my Ma’s fine, Thank God! =>)
