Parrot Cages – STOP RIGHT THERE- Don’t Buy Parrot Cages Untill You Read This

Parrot Cages are 1 of the most important thing to take into consideration when you purchase your parrot. There are 2 reasons this is very very important, so this article will explain in persise detail why it is important and the size you need for the type of parrot you have,or about to purchase.

Parrot cages need to be the correct size for these reasons

Firstly a parrot that has space is a happy parrot that is why size is important, they tend to get depressed and cranky in a small cage.
    Other reasons are!!!

Parrots to be able to spread their wings and move around.

Parrots have different size feet, so you need to be able to put different size perches in the 1 cage, we recomend 4 different types to excercise their feet.

Important things to remember are when purchasing parrot cages!!! http://parrot-training.us/2010/08/Parrot-Cages-Buying-Parrot-Cages-Has-Never-been-Easier-Every-Size-Cage-To-Suit-Every-Parrot/

The bigger you go the better it will be, aslong as spacing in between each bars is small enough to prevent injury in the event your parrot tries to escape. So make sure the birds head can not fit in between the bars.

The door must have anough space to fit your hand in comforably to not only catch him, but to put him back in his cage.

my parakeet died this morning coughing up blood, was she sick or why did this happen?

it was kinda cold like 60 at the lowest, was she too cold? she was 4 years old. did she eat something that made her bleed internally?

    Is this parakeet sick?

I’ve had a parakeet for about a year now, and he is kind of like the black sheep of the family. Originally, he was a quiet bird and didn’t fly much. Once when the other birds took off, this parakeet had trouble flying after them. Now for the past few days, he’s been sitting on his perch alone fluffed up and barely moving. Sometimes I’ve spotted him on the bottom of the cage, seemingly lost on where he is. He sits in the food bowl and eats and sleeps a little earlier than the other birds. What’s wrong with him?

did this make my parakeet sick?

last night somewhere close by, a skunk sprayed and my window was open and my room stunk terribly and i noticed that my parakeets were quiet, they usually arent, i took them out of my room so they wouldnt get sick but today i noticed that the female was all puffed up all day and she was squinting her eyes too, and now i noticed that the other one is starting to do the same thing, so did the skunk smell make them sick? and whatever is wrong with them, is it contagious? cause i dont want my breeding pair to get sick
they didnt get directly sprayed, the skunk sprayed somewhere close by and the smell just got real bad in my room

My birds are mating this very second what do i do???

My budgies are mating right now and I don’t have any of the materials, How many days after they mate does she lay the eggs? Is there a possibility they reject their babies or is that a myth, do I have to do anything for my birds?
How many eggs do parakeets usually lay?
What will the babies look like I have a blue and white male bird and a green and yellow female with a royal blue tail.
Is their a possibility the babies will die?
and anything else i should know please help
oh and what about egg binding, how do i prevent it and anything else i need to know
eek I’m nervous and excited as well

I need to know if this is possible…?

I bought two parakeets from petco when I lived with my boyfriend about 6 days ago and I’m visiting my parents for a month (semester break) and one of my parakeets have shown signs of illness. I have the receipts of purchase for both parakeets and was wondering if I took the sick one to a petco near me, would they take my bird to a vet for free (since I have a 14 day warranty for both birds) or would they deny it? At the moment, I can’t call them or I wouldn’t be posting this question. It would be great if someone can help me :) Thanks :)

We have a parakeet who has loose poop, does this wing lifting thing as if too hot, has stop talking to us.?

Took him to the vet 3 times, 2 courses of antibiotics over last 3 months. Got better after the first round, now the last week or so symptoms have returned. The vet did stool sample to check for parasites, etc. Bird is still eating, drinking, just out of sorts and still loose/soft poop. Not sure what to do next. Live is small town, no avian vets anywhere near us for miles. Don’t know whether this could be a molting/wanting a mate type problem. Vet can’t pinpoint the problem. Bird feels like he is “trembling” when I hold him, but feels warm. We are very careful about temerature of room, cage, etc. Not sure what to do. Very frustrating. Any advice?

    Is this bird egg binding?

This bird is a little puffed up, sits in nest a lot and at bottom of cage. She eats and drinks normally, except she eats nervously and holds on the the cage bars. The feathers around her bottom are plucked out and she has a lump just above her anus that is about the size of a parakeet egg. She has been like this for a few days. Is her egg stuck?
She is only 6-8 months old. What can I do for her if her egg is stuck, besides taking her to the vet (she’s already going), what can I do to help ease it out?

    Thanks!

My parakeet began pooping red. this is not normal for him.?

this is the first day it happened and i red up about parasites i don’t know if that is true. please tell me what to do, besides a vet. any medications? or is this serious at all?

the keet is a male 5years old and just mated. this is the first day. there are no other signs of illness

parakeet acting sick and defensive after removing eggs is this normal?

still eats and drinks /up sometimes /some vocalization
