Parakeet appears sick but he’s flapping his wings?

We have a parakeet, we’ve had him(or her) for about 4-5 months, he appears sick, he’s weak, and he’s all puffed up.

He was standing on his little stick thing and he I fell off and just stood puffed up on the bottom of the cage, he had been puffed of for about an hour or two previously, we padded the bottom of the cage and he’s just been sitting there puffed up, but you occasionally hear him try and flap his wings, is he dying or is him flapping his wings a good sign?
    He passed away at 10:02pm.
Thank you so much for trying and answering this question.

Why does my parakeet vibrate his wings?

My male keet is about 7 or 8 months old and ever since I got him, at random times, he’ll sit and vibrate his wings. This usually happens when I’m reaching for him. He’s a rather shy bird. I have two females and along with all my keets in the past, none of them vibrated their wings like this.

He’s not sickly; probably one of the happiest birds I’ve ever had. He’ll sit all day and sing and play with his toys. He doesn’t show any other symptoms of being sick either.

Has anyone ever had a parakeet do this strange behaviour before? I’ve searched online and can’t find a good explanation other than illness, which I’m sure he’s not.

Any good advice on how to take care of a Parakeet?

Yesterday we found him by our pool, just standing there. We think he was previously owned because his wings have been clipped and all he can do is flutter. We have never had a bird as a pet so we really have no idea what to do. He is our first bird by the way. He doesn’t seem fully grown and hes like a canary yellow color with some white on his chest. We are not sure what species of parakeet he is exactly so we don’t know how best to handle him. Because we found him stray, we are assuming that he flew from his original home or he was released. He’s really skittish if you get to close to him and he is kinda jumppy. Please post some decent advice.
